چکیده

Background: Cervical cancer is the second most common malignancy among women in India. The standard of treatment for locally advanced lesions Concurrent Chemoradiation with External Beam Radiotherapy followed by Intracavitary Brachytherapy (GEC-ESTRO). dose received entire vagina cannot be accurately measured a vaginal point assessment at level ovoids alone. Aims and Objectives: Our study aims to see feasibility measuring various levels define points that can practiced 2D 3D external radiation brachytherapy (BT). Materials Methods: plans 29 patients stages IIA IVA cervix treated concurrent chemoradiation from January 2020 December were retrospectively reviewed throughout vagina. Every patient underwent cisplatin-based weekly chemotherapy along BT beam radiotherapy. We have assessed locations 2 cm above below posteroinferior border pubic symphysis (PIBS). superior surface ovoid PIBS constitutes reference length (VRL). Results: mean median doses therapy (EBRT) 50Gy 51 Gy PIBS, 52 53.5 +2 cm, 18Gy 28 -2 respectively. combined EQD2 EBRT PIBS+2, PIBS-2 56 57 Gy, 65 66 35 31 VRL was 5.25 before 4.75 BT. Conclusion: found it feasible measure using system large variations observed.
